Organization must function within the society .They primarily exit to satisfy societal context. They primarily exist to satisfy societal needs. Organizations must act responsibly toward society. They must be responsive to social needs. Social responsibility is concerned with what organization ought to do .It refers to pursuit of goals that are in the interests of society. It implies safeguarding the interests of stakeholders, such as investors, customers, employees, government and community. It demands commitment to the welfare of society. So, Corporate Social responsibility is the businessman’s decisions and action taken for reason at least partially beyond the firm’s direct .economic or technical interest. According to Richard Steers: Social responsibility focuses on what an organization does to society and what it does for society. The concept of management has acquired special significance in the present competitive and complex business world. Efficient and purposeful management is absolutely essential for the survival of a business unit. Management concept is comprehensive and covers all aspects of business. In simple words, management means utilizing available resources in the best possible manner and also for achieving well defined objectives. It is a distinct and dynamic process involving use of different resources for achieving well defined objectives. The resources are: men, money, materials, machines, methods and markets. The word communication has been derived from the Latin word 'Communis' which means 'common'. Thus, communication means sharing of ideas in common.
